Explore Northwest Point National Park
Stretches of Beach, vibrant Coral Reefs and Rugged Coastline on Providenciales
In this video, we take you to beautiful Northwest Point National Park. A scenic section on Providenciales, the park is comprised of two protected areas side by side: the Northwest Point Marine Natural Park, and Northwest Point Pond Nature Reserve. The main points of interest for visitors to the Turks and Caicos Islands are the rugged rocky coastline (locally known as “iron shore”), and the small coves.
The Park is located at the end of the Millenium Highway and is a superb spot for snorkeling and exploring the thriving coral reefs. Guests at Villa del Mar, which is located along Grace Bay Beach resort area, will find it easiest to reach the marine park via rental car; the drive takes about 20 minutes.
Truly a wonderful day trip while you are on Providenciales, and another unique way to enjoy your time in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
