Duty Free that Dazzles
Not only are the diamonds delightful and the timepieces tempting, but the cost at the end of it all is even more beguiling. There are several duty free shops on the island that offer quality luxurious jewelry pieces without the additional cost of taxes.
Jai’s Duty Free has been successfully serving customers for 20 years taking pride in presenting an inventory that represents quality, value and in many cases exclusivity. Jai’s is the exclusive Rolex representative on the island and also sells an extensive inventory of other high end brands such as Cartier, Baume & Mercier, Bvlgari, Gucci, Breitling and Citizen.
The line up of fragrances is equally as impressive including such brands as Armani, Givency, Dior, Prada, Gucci, Ralph Lauren and Lancome. There are three Jai’s locations on the island. The shop at Regent Village at Grace Bay features a premium collection of fine jewelry, watches and fragrances. Situated just around the corner is Just Jai’s a lovely boutique offering an extensive array of sunglasses, accessories, body treatments and fragrances. Both shops are about a 12 minute walk from Villa del Mar. A third location, Jai’s Provo International Airport, is in the departure lounge. Prior to boarding your return flight home, you can shop for a special item to commemorate your trip or a perhaps a gift for someone back home.
A family run fine jewelry business since 1989 is Royal Jewels, who brand themselves as the pioneer of duty free trade in the Turks and Caicos Islands. This jeweler offers an impressive collection of exquisite jewelry, beautiful timepieces, fine fragrances and cosmetics.
Royal Jewels is the official Piaget representative for Turks and Caicos, but also sells a variety of other watch brands like Mont Blanc, Bvlgari, Longines, Luminox, Bedat & Co and Ebel.
